In 2009, some Australian Apple II enthusiasts gathered in Wollongong for Mt Keira Fest to coincide with Kansasfest.
In 2013, we gathered in Brisbane for Kurilpa-Fest, and again in 2015 in Melbourne for Keysborough-fest.
It is time for another gathering. This time, we have found a location closer to the dormitory-style accomodation of KFest. It is situated at Woorim Beach on the Moreton Bay island of Bribie. The island is linked to the mainland by bridge and about 45 minutes drive north of Brisbane.
The goal of the event is to provide a user group style environment to exchange ideas and discuss new developments in retro computing hardware, software, preservation, emulation and other related topics.
The facilities are available for our use from 30 August through 3 September 2017. The formal schedule will commence from 31 August.
Session topics will be advertised closer to the date. Past session topics can be viewed on our Sessions page and in our Archives. While many presenters have an Apple II interest and background, we welcome participation from anyone and session proposals about any retro computing topic.
